If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well. I don’t believe in half measures and if I can go the extra inch, I will. I’m driven by a commitment to quality and high standards.

When people say to me; “So, what is it you do, exactly?” I’m tempted to pretentiously reply:
“I carefully balance the skills of communication, technology, psychology and business with incredible visual and emotional sensitivity to achieve effective and appropriate design solutions that will benefit my clients’ business and boost their profiles”
But I don’t. I often just say:
“Oh, you know, logos, brochures, marketing ideas… that kind of thing”
I think that’s really what they want to know!
My work is diverse and multi-disciplined and as such, requires proficiency in various applications including;

I have been a freelance designer since 1987.
The work I have taken on over the years has been diverse and I never shy away from a challenge! I’m equally happy working for a small business with a tight budget as I am for a national (or international) brand. By working with some of the UK’s finest agencies, I have been entrusted to handle work for such high profile companies as:
Alongside my freelance work I was also a lecturer in graphic design at Blackpool & The Fylde College for 15 years at both Diploma and Degree level. As well as teaching there, I was commissioned to design a variety of promotional items for the college including their prospectus.
I keep in touch with a number of my ex-students and I am very proud of their achievements within the industry.
