The challenge

The client required cover and page layout design proposals for a brochure promoting the latest 20th Century Fox film releases. This was to be used as a marketing tool for around 30 forthcoming titles. The design would then be used as the generic look for other marketing materials. Each page contains the relevant ‘key art’ for the film, a synopsis, plus cast and crew information. 

The solution

A horizontal design was proposed to have a widescreen, cinematic look. Rounded corners were inspired by the sprocket holes of acetate film stock. Imagery would appear to float across the page in an almost Pearl & Dean fashion. Blurred backgrounds and layers add depth and motion.
