The challenge

Dermasense specialised in producing products for sensitive skin. They wanted surface graphics for their range of cleaning products, specifically laundry detergent, fabric conditioner, washing up liquid and an all purpose cleaner.

Stipulations included:

• The typeface used should be the same as their house style.
• Maintain a clean white look. 
• Include the Swiss flag but avoid it looking like a first aid icon.
• The designs should easily adapt to other items in their range.

The solution

The clinical, almost pharmaceutical design met with the client’s approval. The background graphic was consistent across all items for continuity and designed to be suitable for all of them, having a both a soft fabric swoosh-like appearance and also implying liquid. The flag was given a soft realistic fabric look.
