The challenge

To produce designs for a World Cup themed promotion throughout the Mecca Bingo clubs with the purpose of encouraging members to ‘come and join in’. The promotion vehicles included scratch cards, posters, table cards and mailers.

The solution

A stylised graphic approach was proposed, rather than using photography, to make the campaign stand out and ensure a consistent look across the campaign. The typography had to follow Mecca’s corporate guidelines but was given a treatment which alludes to the England team strip. Word play headings such as ‘Scratch of the Day’ and ‘Save These Dates’ add fun to the messages.
