The challenge

Lovell Consulting are London based capital allowances specialists. Tax can be a very dry subject so any means of introducing a fun element will grab attention. Lovell Consulting wanted to feature cartoons in their seminar PowerPoint presentations. 

The objective was to reinvent an old satirical cartoon using the prime minister and chancellor of the time. I produced one during the Brown/Darling era and one for a subsequent seminar during the Cameron/Osborne era. 

The solution

Using photographs as a starting point, I exaggerated and manipulated their facial features just enough to give them a humorous appearance while ensuring they remained recognisable.
