The challenge

Arthur Stephenson Engineers is a fourth generation family run business based in Atherton, Manchester. It specialises in the batch production of medium to large sized, machined components and fabrications.

After designing their new corporate identity I was commissioned to produce their company brochure. This involved gaining a good understanding of the business and a tour of the facilities. 

The solution

An abstract and intriguing cover design conveys a feeling of the fabrication and CAD design processes. For the page content, I worked as art director with a photographer and also used images provided by the client. A more unusual landscape format was proposed and the image-heavy, text-light result makes for an inviting and accessible brochure.
