TGI Friday’s wanted to utilise a temperature-activated, colour-changing straw in a prize draw promotion. Vehicles for the promotion included scratch cards, table talkers and banners.
After considering a number of strap lines, including ‘The Luck of the Straw’, the ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’ inspired option was chosen. Quirky, humorous faces shown sucking straws were used set against a brightly coloured, bubbly backdrop.
