Rashida Cancer Care was set up following the death from breast cancer of the founder’s wife, Rashida. The aim was to raise money for cancer care and give hope, encouragement and advice to sufferers. This charity needed a strong identity that reflected these values and one that would be distinctive and memorable.
The chosen design uses an image of a flower to represent both care and giving. The head of the flower stems from a letter ‘r’ to represent Rashida. Blue was chosen as the main colour, setting off the vibrant orange of the flower. The use of circles for both the logo and literature help to give a soft approach.
Literature was designed in a way that could be easily adapted to a right-to-left reading Arabic version.
